Northwest Health - La Porte's rehabilitation program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Northwest Health - La Porte Pulmonary Rehabilitation is designed to guide you and your family through lifestyle changes that protect the health of your lungs. Our goal is to work with your physician to educate, train and instruct you on the proper management of your condition; thus reducing recovery time and returning you to your regular daily activities prior to your pulmonary event.

Your individualized exercise program is developed and closely monitored for safety. Our goal is to help you increase your physical activity and lower the risks for future complications by monitoring your vital signs, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen level, perceived exertion and breathing during exercise.
A referral from your physician is required for participation in the pulmonary rehabilitation program. Your physician will be informed of your progress on a regular basis.
